2025 Full Moon in Taurus

This Full Moon in Taurus (11/5/2025) shines a light on our inherent value and the beauty we wish to bring forth with which to flower the Earth. She brings a light of illumination to the Deep Truth that the Scorpio Sun brings to the surface for acknowledgement and clearing. When this polarity works well together, Taurus can make compost to enrich our soil out of the Deep Cleaning that Scorpio delights in. Kindness and Truth can enrich our lives with beauty and abundance.

Venus, who rules Taurus, and thus this Full Moon, is in quite a stressed position. Now in the last degrees of Libra (another sign she rules), Venus has to make adjustments between many points of view brought forth in sudden bursts, and the demands of aligning with Spirit and respecting Structure/Reality. How do we value ourselves and treat ourselves and each other kindly with so much diversity of experience and ways of seeing the World? How do we ground ourselves in Spirit and Oneness despite the turmoil and swirls of change? Venus in Libra seeks this tall order of harmony and balance while opposing Chiron Retrograde (Rx) in Aries. This added challenge calls them both to cooperate toward the goal of a healed sense of Self and Self-worth in order to forge a new path forward, a new identity, in alignment with our Highest Good.

No relationship can be in alignment without the sacredness of Self and Other equally honored. Issues of self worth and values (Taurus) have come to the surface (Scorpio) for review and for alignment with Spirit (Neptune Rx in Pisces). Differing ways of experiencing and communicating that experience (Uranus Rx Gemini) must be grounded in reality in a mature and responsible way (Saturn Rx in Pisces) honoring the sacredness of All.  A Kite formation pointing to Pluto in Aquarius tells us where we are going with this Very Tall Order: toward a Humanity in alignment with Natural Law and a healed Sacred Masculine and Feminine honoring each other and expressed through a mature, grounded responsibility for kindness and care. This is true Empowerment.

This Kite formation includes a woobly Air/Water Grand Trine. I call it wobbly because it is full of planets at the end or beginning degrees of air or water signs and looks and feels a bit unsteady. Depending on how this Moon effects your chart you may feel woobly, uncertain, or deeply challenged with emotions. Remember your tools: Nature, connection to Spirit, nurturing movement (yoga/tai chi/qigong), clean water and nourishing, grounding foods, like root vegetables.

Uranus Rx changes from Gemini to Taurus on the Nov. 7th, further accentuating the themes of Deep care and nurture for our Earth, personal and collective.

On a lighter note, both Scorpio and Taurus are extremely intuitive and creative.

The following quotes from John Sandbach express this Polarity’s Creative urges beautifully. Taurus: “You love to be able to move and to be free. You think on your feet and are very good at spontaneous expression. All you need is a supportive context in which to create and experiment in direct, open fashion, and your essence will shine forth, continually surprising both yourself and other people.”  Scorpio: “…. to express creative urges freely and without need of any support or permission from outside brings us into contact with the power of our own needs and instincts.”

Remember to play, smile and to lift your face up to the wind and the sun and the moon.
