Women and Birds

Sunning myself in the late morning.
The sweeping breeze perfectly offsets the heat.
Eyes closed; rewire my brain, Sun, and Thank You.
Grass green, sky blue and white.

The cat has stolen my chair and I had to get another.
It’s hard to fault him when he looks so content,
so drunk on the Sun’s Qi.
Late Summer or first day of Autumn, it’s a good day.

A burble of sound erupts from a nearby domicile.
It sounds like geese, birds. All quiet until the next eruption.
Yes, it is Women’s laughter; We do sound like geese!
Only an insult if one hate’s women and geese.

But I love women and geese. I love them dearly.
Our beauty and our laughter.
More evidence of when Women were Birds.
Ahhhh, the glory of it.
